Photograph a paper receipt or upload a PDF invoice. Our OCR extracts the vendor, date, currency, totals and every individual line item. Long receipts are read in segments so nothing is missed, and non-product lines — tax, environmental fees, subtotals — are filtered out automatically so they never pollute your records.
Each item is matched to the right main category and subcategory using a database-driven classifier with alias matching and fuzzy fallback. When it's unsure, it flags the item for review — and every correction you make teaches the system, so accuracy climbs the more you use it.
Keep proof of purchase and warranty terms for everything you own. Werlog tracks coverage status — active, expiring soon, or expired — and a receipt with several products splits into one warranty card per item, so each has its own expiry and serial number.
Deduction rules differ by country. Werlog applies the correct deductible rate per category for Canada, USA, UK, Pakistan and India — and honours your own per-category overrides first. Business-use percentages apply automatically to categories like home office and vehicle.
Scan a receipt in CAD, GBP, PKR or any of 40+ currencies and see it in your chosen base currency. Conversion happens at read time, so changing your base currency instantly re-expresses your whole history — no data rewritten.
